How to mount an ISO image with Windows 8?

I'm using Windows 8 Pro x64.

How do I mount an ISO file in WIndows 8?

I right click on the ISO file and the menu that pops up does not give me a Mount option. At the top of the menu it says Play. There is not a mount option anywhere in the menu. I looked in the Open With option but Mount is not there either.

Did you try the following?.

Right-click an .iso file > Properties > click "Change" under the "General" tab > click on "Windows Explorer" > OK

If you have any trouble to mount ISO with Explorer, try to use 7zip software, extract the content to a folder.

Windows 8 natively can mount .iso or .vhd

For .bin you would need a third party program.

When I select explorer.exe, I get the following message:

"The program you have selected cannot be associated with this file type. Please choose another program."

What do you suggest?

If it matters, the kind of file I am trying to mount ia a .bin file.
