Nokia Suite Support for Nokia 301

Hello

Does anyone know what the official Nokia position is regarding Nokia Suite supporting the Noklia 301?  I'd like to be able to sync music, install any future firmware upgrades etc etc without needing to use a mobile data connection.  If Nolkia aren;t going to upgrade Nokia Suite to support the 301 is there going to be an alternative?

    Mhm. Nokia Suite 3.7 works here, tested myself. However, you have to

    1. install Nokia Suite 3.8,
    2. Windows » Start » Control Panel » Software » Nokia Suite » Uninstall,
    3. install Nokia Suite 3.7.

    Which variant of the Nokia 515 do you have: Please, dial *#0010# and give us (just) the RM-xxx.

    Tried 4 versions: 7.1.180, 3.5.34, 3.7.22 and 3.8.54. Only 3.5.34 works. On 3.7 and 3.8 it was found, but got the message that it can be connected. I have RM-953. Thanks.

    use Nokia Transfer which utilizes Bluetooth Phone-Book Access Profile (PBAP)

      2. on your computer, install the latest Nokia Suite, which installs the PC Connectivity Solution (12.0.109.0)
      3. on your computer, uninstall (only) the Nokia Suite via Windows » Start » Control Panel » Software » Nokia Suite
      4. on your computer, install an old version of the Nokia Suite, like 3.5.34
      5. (optionally for Upload-to-SkyDrive/OneDrive) download ssleay32.dll and replace at C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Nokia Suite\
      6. Nokia 301 » Menu » Settings » Connectivity » USB data cable » Modem mode

    If your contact database and calander are cloud based already, either use:

    • OMA SyncML DS

    If you want to backup your phone, use either:

    In the PC Suite 7, the PC Sync app is blocked by CRC checks. Consequently, the synchronisation with Outlook does not work with the PC Suite 7. Anyone with a hack for that? Has anyone used Microsoft Outlook 2013 successfully? And please report if you have any issues! We try to fix those together.

    Jacquesde, one example would be:

    1. on your computer, install Nokia Suite 3.8
    2. on your computer, un-install (only) the Nokia Suite via Windows » Start » Control Panel » Software » Nokia Suite
    3. on your computer, install Nokia Suite 3.5
    4. Nokia 301 » Menu » Settings » Connectivity » USB data cable » Modem mode

    Any issues with that – please post the error message word for word.
