can you open control panel from the start menu?
Yes but i am not able to open installed updates to remove the update
helllo I have solution to this problem but the solution is temporary. My system is also suffered from the problem. You can access the internet by going through Help option and then click on 'windows' option as given in"Check out the Windows website, which has more information, downloads, and ideas for getting the most out of your Windows 7 PC." at home of help.
YOU CAN ACCESS INTERNET... CHECK IT. tihis trick is only to access internet.
I have the same problem. Windows updated last night before I turned off my computer, and this morning when I turned it on again, I had these problems. All applications doesn't work and give 0xc0000005 error. I tried to restore system, but it did not help. I checked in Safe mode but it's the same.
Also when I try to open something in Control Panel it doesnt allow, it just doesnt open.
Microsoft and their pathetic updates are to be blamed for this, specially the security update kb2859537.
I uninstalled that update and everything normalized as before.
