Alright when ever I try to open any type of internet browser or an .iso it always gives me that error also when i try to press on different option on the windows firewall it does not do anything. Oh and when i try to run a antivirus it shows the same error.

"(Name of .exe - Application Error)"

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.

This start automatically on start up and i have to press ok like 3-5 times also there's the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explore 10 for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB28627772)  When ever i try to update it it always fail no matter what and i cant download the service pack 2 because of pack 1.

Please help me to fix this

I am having this exact same problem. Removing certain windows updates has not helped and my path is indeed winload.exe. How can this be fixed?

Try downloading and running RKILL , it will check your winload.exe

Also:  "0xc0000005 is a common error, this thread is for people that had problems with some kernal updates."

    Hey Steve,

I was reading this post(all answers) and anything is helping me. I didn`t find the updates here described or mentionated.

Your explanation about the BCDEdit is not working for me, because my path is winload.exe(instead xosload.exe) and the files which you described are not in my folders. So the explanation doesn`t helps me.

I don`t know how to fix it. and in my case, it seems like the problem is worst, because any program is working, just control panel.

    Could you help me, please?

0xc0000005 is a common error, this thread is for people that had problems with some kernal updates.

It sounds like you have a different problem, so I would look elsewhere or start your own thread.

    Good Luck!
