OK, I think this will fix it.

First of all, if your System Restore is working then just use that to go back to before the recent updates, if it's not working then try this.

    1. Disconnect from the internet
    2. Open Control Panel
    3. Open Program & Features
    4. Click "View installed updates" on the left-hand side
    5. Find "Security update for Microsoft Windows (KB2859537)" under the Microsoft Windows section
    6. Uninstall that update and restart you PC (may take a very-VERY long time to configure)
    7. Go to Windows Updates and hide  (KB2859537)
    8. Reconnect to the internet
    9. Fix your System Restore feature; You might have to remove a fake C: drive and enable System Restore on the correct Windows drive.

    Thanks!!!

    This work for me!

    I tried this and

    KB2882822

    KB2872339

    too, but either works.

I never had this kind of problem. Could someone help me? Is it possible that a newer windows update cause that? I don't find any "KB" of your advices in my system :/

    Please... It's kinda annoying

What have you tried from the 70+ other replies in this conversation that have not worked?

    How is this issue solved?

I'm reinstalling games through Steam that I have previously played. The only difference is I played them while using windows 7, now I have Windows 10.

So far Far Cry 3 and Crysis 2 maximum edition are affected.

What is the issue and how will Microsoft fix this?
