Nokia Lumia 920 touch screen not working

Hey, I have a problem with the touchscreen on my 920 I cant do anything with the touchscreen. The sidebuttons work perfectly. I have made several hardresets(Holding down all side buttons). Nothing is working. The store i bought it from said it should be send in for repair. But im wondering if there is any fix that you now off?

When you attempted these resets can you explain what you did as holding down all buttons aint one of them.

For starter the store you bought it from should replace the handset if its withing the timeframe.

SOFT RESET

Press and hold the power- and volume-down buttons pressed simultaneously for ten seconds. The phone should then vibrate and reboot.

HARD RESET

Press and hold the power-, volume-down- and camera buttons until the phone vibrates. Then release the power-button and keep the other two buttons pressed for another five seconds.

    i have a problem with my L620 screen, the top of it doesnt work i cant remove notification or check wifi network by sliding down, its a dead spot it doesnt work in landscape (in this case the left part)either.

    The dead spot is more or less the high of an small tile.

    Dear, i do have same issue, i purchase my Nokia Lumia 920 from 5 buildings in Riyadh KSA, on 11 of march 2014, with in 10-12 days from the date of purchase, handset touch stop responding, i try to contact with nokia care, according to  nokia care the handset warrenty expires, it will cost me the same price................

    i would like to suggest please dont purchase Nokia Lumia mobiles from the kingdom (KSA)

    Easy solution to the problem. Follow all the steps in this except one. Don’t put the sensor back in. The phone still operates just have to be careful when putting the phone to your ear that you don’t push the buttons on screen.

    Had the same problem, for whatever reason (didn't drop it, didn't get it wet, stayed in my pocket out of the sun and outdoor weather "elements"), did the "SOFT reset" and it fixed the problem right away (knock on wood) and hope it stays fixed, as it has thus far (after locking/unlocking, powering off/on). Kudos, sir, who'd suggested the solution. Simple, but entirely effective. Thanks much. 👍
