Recently I bought samsung ativ smart PC pro from Dubai. For some reason I got blue screen & I had to reset the windows. After restoring windows 8, some of the preinstalled samsung apps are missing from windows store & PC. I tried below actions, still no solution. Reinstalled windows 3 times, samsung update also done 3 times PC given for service, they reinstalled it for 4th time & said its ok. (no improvement) Contacted S agent online, he remotely tried to check the PC. He said reinstall windows!!!! otherwise contact windows support. Now I dont know, what windows support is going to direct me to some other company XYZ? Could some one take the responsibility & resolve the issue, instead of throwing the ball here & there. I've had our several ATIVs too long to return, but I'm recalling them from the CxO executives. Samsung is clearly not up to the task of providing enterprise customers with enterprise support (technical details are in my earlier post). I do believe that someone in engineering who doesn't understand the business case for resolving this has just made a bad call. It's a case of simply needing to develop another method with which to determine a computer's eligibility to install Samsung software at the store. We all know that the way they're doing it now just doesn't work. National level Samsung directors are aware of this and don't seem to care. Oh well--especially without cool software like S-Note there are lots of other Windows 8 Hybrids to choose from. They're just nothing special without the value-added software. I had a bad feeling but gave Samsung a shot at a piece of our enterprise computer business (we have nearly 15,000 Windows computers in the organization). I really want to get a Samsung TV for home, love my Note II phone and Galaxy Note tablet but primarily because of this ridiculous issue, these Windows 8 devices can't get out of my sight fast enough. I've spent way too much time trying to make this work and am done with Samsung in our organization. This has been such a pain I'm going to take a serious look at LG zero clients for virtual desktop clients. Samsung's is very good but so is LG's. Good luck to all--I'm out of here.

Samsung's level 1 support says that it's a Microsoft store problem, but see my earlier thread--it's a Samsung issue and they don't have any intention of allowing customers who install, for example, an enterprise VLA Windows build, to re-install the Samsung apps. The right person at Samsung doesn't know what's going on because someone in engineering is blowing their chance to be taken seriously by enterprise customers.

I returned mine, and cancelled the project. After going around and around with support on both sides, I decided it was not worth the effort.

I am having the same problem. I have a Samsung XE700T1C that was reinstalled. I am wondering why Microsoft is not trying to help us out. It is obvious that there is a problem with the app store.
