During windows 8 reset all my Apps were removed, how do I restore them?

Install them again.
What you did was this wipe it and start from the beginning.
Remove everything and reinstall Windows
If you want to recycle your PC, give it away, or just start over, you can reset it completely.

You are offended by someone pointing out that THEY are not sure what someone's age (as it was brought up as it was an important part of the situation) has to do with asking for help from complete strangers with a computer problem?
Again, being 'elderly' does not seem relevant unless you are asking to be treated different in some manner because of it - in which case you should point out the manner in which you believe you should be treated differently. The septuagenarians thru nonagenarians I help have specific (and in some cases, since I am in-front of them - I can see and interact with them, obvious) needs in terms of getting help with some things. They do not point out their ages, but point out the things they specifically need help with ("I have cataracts, so I need help with seeing"; "My memory is not what it used to be, can you leave written instructions"; etc.)
Some of the people you are speaking with here may well be near to or exceeding your age. Some may be very far away from your age, but may even have the same needs you may have in terms of how instructions must be given...
In any case, it doesn't change that free help in a volunteer-based public forum such as this is still a two-way situation. Those here are not sitting with you where they can see what you have and they were not there when the situation occurred that led to what you have and they have little idea what your capabilities are / are not. Giving your age tells them only that you believe it to be an important point about you, not why it is important.
For someone to assist you in this manner - you need to provide them with the details of the problem as well as any special specific circumstances they should be aware of when presenting you with the work to do, the questions to answer, etc. If you do not, you only make your own situation potentially worse.
So, please, tell those here some details about your situation or you would be better served by finding someone local to you that can see your situation for themselves and thus better help you.
From a generic (all we got, along with guesses) standpoint : perhaps you were hit with the Webroot issue recently and necessary system files were removed. Their solution (Webroot) seemingly is for the end-user to restore their system (where possible) to a pre-Webroot messed up state (system restore, restore to a prior backup, etc.) or RESET the system to achieve said result or install from scratch and restore your personal files from backups.
Is that your situation?
I am quite offended by the reply I received regarding my age, and the comment "I am not sure what this got to do with your age !!!!!!!!!!! I am simply elderly and would like someone to direct me on how to get my apps back.
i have been in touch with my anti virus people regarding this problem and they tell me they were 'probably removed during a scan' This is very frustrating to me, but I will try to do the suggestions recommended.
