Can I recover APPS removed during a Reset

During windows 8 reset all my Apps were removed, how do I restore them?

Install them again.

What you did was this wipe it and start from the beginning.

Remove everything and reinstall Windows

If you want to recycle your PC, give it away, or just start over, you can reset it completely.

Note

  • You might be prompted to insert discs or recovery media that came with your PC. Check the info that came with your PC to see if your PC manufacturer provided these discs or media. In some cases, you might have created them when you first set up your PC.

Warning

  • All of your personal files will be deleted and your settings will be reset. Any apps the came with your PC will be reinstalled, but all other apps will be removed.

To reset your PC

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.) 2. Under PC settings, tap or click General. 3. Under Remove everything and reinstall Windows, tap or click Get started. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Note - You'll be prompted to choose whether you want to erase data quickly or thoroughly. If you choose to erase data quickly, some data might be recoverable using special software. If you choose to erase data thoroughly, this will take longer but it makes recovering data far less likely.

    THANKS, I HAVE FINALLY COME TO THAT CONCLUSION, YOU CAN ADD WINDOWS 10 TO THAT LIST, THEY EVEN REMOVED QUITE A FEW OF THERE ON APP.S WHAT A NIGHTMARE, NIGHTMARE, NIGHTMAREEEE? THANKS AGAIN.

    No one here COULD take responsibility (is accountable) anymore than you.  This is a PEER-to-PEER (volunteer-based) public international forum.  We are all consumers and the best you can generally hope for here is a contracted 'help desk' or 'call center' type employee - not working directly for Microsoft and definitely not usually involved in anything you would like direct answers about.

    Based off my experience - to go from Windows 7, 8/8.1 to 10 DOES take interaction / initialization by the end user.  Based off my experience - to go from Windows 10 1607, 1703, etc. to the next version / build of Windows 10 only requires the end user to have NOT stopped it via settings before.

    I do not like the latter method of updating (even if it is between builds of the same OS, as those include feature and other changes than can affect installed applications, etc.) - thus I control my updates a little more closely (although I always get the Pro or greater versions of OSes in order to get features such as that.)

    As for your direct issue - if you believe you were upgraded to Windows 10 from a prior OS without your permission *last night*, roll back.

    Also, if you do not already perform periodic Full System backups in addition to your hopefully more frequently performed personal file/stuff backups to EXTERNAL media: start now.

    Seeing as how I woke up one morning and the laptop updated without my knowledge during the night and without my permission....Your reply to the gentleman was rude and VERY UNLOVELY! Don't give me the song and dance that Microsoft can not update without your giving permission, bull hockey! It did as I woke up with a laptop updated to Windows 10 and a laptop that does not communicate with my HP Desk Jet 2132 Printer. We as consumers get tired of getting blamed for what happens without our knowledge or while we are sleeping! Stop blaming others and accept accountability for what happens that WE know nothing about!!!
