For me it worked to uninstall Adobe Reader and install the newest version that I downloaded from their site. Hope that works for you too. Good luck!
MSVCP100.dll Missing.
Hi, I am getting an error message on startup that says 'The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.' Can anyone please help me and throw some light on the above-mentioned problem ?

2017-04-23T20:27:26+00:00 Alright so I came to post my own little tidbit. I've tried all the steps mentioned in this forum and about 32 different other forums and none worked so I'm just gonna say this. If you do all the steps they say repeatedly downloading and installing all the Microsoft Visual C++ things and you still get the message "msvcp100.dll is missing" or "msvcr100.dll is missing" what you have to do is manually download and move the files. What I did was find the msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll files in the System32 files of the old windows folder so I copied those two programs and pasted them into the Windows folder (that doesn't have an old in the name) System32 files. By the way you need administrator permissions for these since they are important system programs. If anyone thinks these instructions aren't clear enough message me and I'll try to give better instructions sooner or later.

2017-06-03T12:54:40+00:00 I have Windows 10. I just updated again in May 2017. MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR100.dll are now missing. Left-click doesn't work. My apps are gone. Edge doesn't work. Crazy set of icons in my task bar. Ran "scannow" through WindowsPowerShell and the message was everything was fine. Tried to download a Redistributable Package and I got the message that there was a more current version already active on my machine. I've run troubleshooters and they tell me nothing is wrong. Now what do I do?

2017-06-16T15:28:16+00:00 I just upgraded my PC (2 days ago) and my Laptop (this morning), to the new Windows 10 Creator. All went well on the PC, but when the Laptop restarted after the update, I got the MSVCP100.dll Missing error.
I first saw that error a couple years ago, tried all the complicated fixed and finally found that installing the latest update for iTunes fixed it. Then a few months later, after some update, I got it again and found that installing the latest update for Acrobat Reader fixed it.
So today, there were no updates for either program, so I fired up Acrobat Reader DC and tried the Repair Installation function under the Help tab.
To my surprise, it fixed the problem, no more missing dll.
Sharing as it might work for someone else. At least it is easy to try.
