How can I remove my uninstalled apps history from "Your Apps" in Windows Store ?

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

Why can't I remove apps I dont us its just taking up space on my phone and some apps I dont wanna us any more and taking up my space on my phone how do you remove them?

That's not right BC it takes up space on your phone and can't do anything more I dont want them apps and yall need make it where you can delete them bc it takes up space in your phone do yall understand that it takes up space and can't get anymore apps so yall need fix that BC I need space on my phone and can't BC tho damn apps you can't delete?

We should be able to at least mark them as NOT to reinstall if do hard reset.

I just purchased a new PC and the OEM installed a bunch of software I don't want. Now when I go to "Your Apps" from my Surface I have all the software the OEM installed not me. Now I have to selectively pick and choose instead of selecting all (By the way the default another assumption by MS) and hitting install.

I don't want Microsoft giving Jo Blow download credit from me when I did not download it, the damn OEM did. I see the bloat ware lives on, now just in a different format. Worse than before even, now it follows you from one device to the next. Just because Jo Blow software came with my PC does not mean I want it on my Surface.

This is a pain in the * The first thing in software design is don't take a way control from the user. You have just now narrowed the possibilities of what the software can do. Now we can only do what Microsoft thinks we want to do instead of giving us control to do what we want to do.

Just give us control and don't *****u*me.  You makes an * out of U and ME.

You make it sound like this "design" was handed down to Microsoft from the heavens and it can't be changed. Regardless if it is a design issue or not, humans did it and humans can undo it. Just because it is by "design" does not mean we Microsoft's customers are screwed and have to live with it. Again the first aspect of the design is to give the user as much control making the software more flexible and capable of doing more.

Fix the design flaw! please.

I'm still laughing, "by design" for every time I have heard that as an excuse or a cop-out I would be rich by now.

very good point GUY...this is ridiculous..i already have over 150 uninstalled apps and I was in the page the other day and hit wrong button closed phone woke up next day phone or nothing wouldn't work..

And it installed all my unistalled apps...yes I hit select all,thinking I was deleting all...they need to do something...pretty lame excuse why we can't make your own choice!

Hey fellas, this thread's been going for years. To date I have not heard any thing from Microsoft to say they will fix this. The thrust of Windows 10 is marketing through their store, and they have a hive of apps developers writing apps to entice people. Just gotta stop using the M$ Store. Try FileHippo.
