Windows Store Shows My Installed AND Uninstalled Apps in the Option [ YOUR APPS ].

I want to remove my Uninstalled Apps From this Option.

Please Help me.

Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

    Hello all and Mahesh :-)

    Idharam is right, being able to remove apps from the "Yours Apps" can be very useful !

    Let me explain :-)

    For example, you want to find an app for mind mapping ...

    You go to the Productivity section ! A lot of them exists, even if it's hard to find...

    App's description make you feel it's the right one then ... You try it !

    But unfortunately, the apps doesn't fulfill your needs :-( So you uninstall it ...

    After some time, you need to format your Workstation or install a new one with the same MS Live account ...

    So, you got a fresh new install and go in the Store and show up the "Your Apps" section to simply right click all apps you wan to install again ... Problem!! All apps are shown event the one you've uninstalled because you don't want them :-\

    If you want to install all apps you really use, you need to check one by one the apps from your "history" to install if it is the good one and not the one you have uninstalled because it's not the "good" app for you...

    After a long time, you'll have a lot of apps in this "history" and it's not very easy to remember apps you have installed for testing few years ago and then uninstalled ...

    Currently, I've 57 apps in this history (I know it's not a lot :p), at least 10 of them are not used as they are not what I need ...

    A more precise example?  Live TV and Television (not sure if the second one is the good name as I'm a french Customer), both from FilmOn... The later one has been replaced(deprecated) by the first one. If you reinstall both, there is a "very logical" problem!! The Television app remind you that you *need* to upgrade to "Live TV", so "Why do I need to keep these both apps in this history ????"

    (The same problem appear with the Windows Phone Store :-p)

    Hope it'll help to show the real users need to enhance the store to be much more "user oriented" than "history oriented" ;-)

    Feel free to ask for more détails on how we use the Store ;-) (In fact, we're here (on Microsoft's forums) for that ! :-p

    I totally agree. It is really annoying not being able to get rid of previously installed and unliked applications from "My Applications" in the Windows Store. Users should be allowed to decide whether they want to keep the history or not. In my case, I would like to keep under "My applications" only those that I would in fact reinstall some day or install on another computer, more like a history of what one really considers "My applications" instead of a history of "All the applications I ever tried". Please do something about this.
