Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

I hope the above information helps you.

I totally agree. It is really annoying not being able to get rid of previously installed and unliked applications from "My Applications" in the Windows Store. Users should be allowed to decide whether they want to keep the history or not. In my case, I would like to keep under "My applications" only those that I would in fact reinstall some day or install on another computer, more like a history of what one really considers "My applications" instead of a history of "All the applications I ever tried". Please do something about this.

I agree as well, sometimes I am just trying out an app and do not keep because I don't like it, and I sure do want to install it again so why should I not be able to delete it from history. Like all of microsoft, you must do it their way and not the way you are using stuff! They really need to fix this because their not always right, gesh why do they not get it?? Sad part is I do like most of the stuff they make!

For me Norton Studio won't go away and I can't install Windows 8.1 until it's gone.

OKAY OKAY, I GET IT! "It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history". SO THEN GET IT REDESIGNED SO WE CAN REMOVE OUR App HISTORY...THE COSTUMER DOES NOT WANT 100'S OF  APP HISTORY, AND THE COSTUMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. (SALESMAN COURSE 101).

IN THE MEAN TIME I'LL JUST USE A FAKE SIGN IN OR SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUT FOR THE TRASH APPS THAT I AM JUST CONSIDERING BUT DON'T WANT A HISTORY OF.

I simply find it a nuisance that when I install apps on a new computer I have to sift through all the useless and poorly designed apps I installed, tried, and then deleted with absolutely no intentions to download and install them again. At least give us the option to hide them from the store Microsoft!
