Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

I hope the above information helps you.

Go to the charms bar and search wsreset

click it and it will clear all the cache of the MS Store

You got it they wont listen and mess with stuff that is working fine the way it is why? Yes you can still can use the desktop and all but the new interface just make it harder! I I wanted to talk on the phone I would but when I am using my computer that is what I want to do! So why they mess it up? Windows was working great, and they just made it harder. Don't get me wrong some of the new apps (programs, why the change the name?) are cute, but really not needed when your trying to work on stuff. Oh well as always it is their way or noting!

Why do people keep on acting as if Windows 8 is exclusively Modern UI. That the only way to get a desktop is to use Windows 7. Hello there is a desktop option, you can run all of your Desktop Apps from there. Have you even tried Windows 8? I have been running Windows 8 for the past couple of years now and I'm NOT forced to use the Modern UI. The only thing missing is the Start Menu and just because that is missing doesn't mean there is no desktop option. Does not mean that things that can run in Windows 7 can't run in Windows 8, they can.

This really is the story of Microsoft over the past five years. They simply won't listen to their customers. People scream for a better selection of colours in Office 365/2013, but no, it's by design that we are stuck with three boring, and in some cases eye searing colour schemes. People around the world, including major computer manufacturers are sticking in their millions to windows 7 because they just hate the "Modern UI" interface. Microsoft, please listen to your customers, and start by putting Business Rule Number 1 on the wall of the Board Room in Redmond:

    "The customer is always right"

You are not to big too fail. Listen!!!
