How can I remove my uninstalled apps history from "Your Apps" in Windows Store ?

Mahesh... stating the obvious doesn't make it right. Filling my already cluttered online world with stuff I no longer want or need isn't helpful in finding the things I actually DO want to find again.

As others have posted here, this is just bad design. There is no explanation for bad design, just excuses.

This really needs to be fixed. I have two children who have their own accounts protected by family safety. Occasionally I will purchase a game under my account that is family friendly. I do not want to purchase the game multiple times, so under their accounts I change the store account to my own temporarily so I can install it on their accounts without paying for the same thing multiple times.

What I hadn't realized is the option to switch the store account to a different user to download apps on a child account isn't temporary. I'd wrongfully assumed that after I logged off our family tablet as them the next time they logged in their store accounts would revert back to their own. No real harm done since they can't make monetary purchases through their accounts. It is however an extremely frustrating mistake I made that seems I will never be able to fix. Within a week I had several hundred useless free games listed in my live account. I do not want my app list cluttered with odd things.

I don't use many apps. I've purchased maybe 4 productivity apps and a just a few games. I shouldn't have to wade through a list of hundreds of junk applications to find the 10 I need to install when I get a new tablet. I understand having a record of applications PURCHASED, but all of the free nonsensical ones need to be able to be purged. Give me a double warning screen before I remove them if you are that concerned with my history but ultimately let users determine what they want or not.

With the advent of Windows 8, Microsoft's choke hold on customer computing has infuriated me like no previous incarnation of Windows. I have decided to switch to Linux until it's time for a new computer, which will be a MAC. Mac Mac Mac Mac Mac!! I don't care how much more a Mac costs. Apple hardware lasts longer but the real icing on the cake is that Macintosh operating systems are far more stable and far less invasive / restrictive than Windows.

Microsoft and the big-name PC manufacturers will not see a penny more of my hard earned money.  Ever.

So you using a Linux OS that has less compatibility than Apple, and then your new PC will be a MAC :/

how do these last longer than a PC, all components and repairs must be done by Apple, where a PC and be upgrade, and if you spent the same amount of cash on a PC that you will on a Apple, PC will last far longer... As for more stable and far less invasive, have your tried running apple on none apple hardware :D CRASH CITY :D then lets talk about security I can gain access to any apple mac with two buttons and 3 lines of code :D ROFL

And another note what the help has any of that got to do with uninstalling Applications on the Windows Phone Store?

P.S I still wish Microsoft would allow us to remove uninstalled apps :D

This thread is now 2 1/2 yrs old. Uninstalled Apps is still inaccessible in terms of options. When I go into My Apps, Uninstalled is the default list.  Unbelievably insulting.  If Microsoft thinks that I will ever reinstall an app because it was updated or the price changed, then they'd better think again.

I love how Microsoft never deigned to provide a more satisfactory answer than the original load of s * h * t. Microsoft obviously made the incorrect assumption that their customers are **** and that was a BIG mistake.
