Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

I hope the above information helps you.

Why in the name of Steve Jobs' ghost would we want to install apps that we no longer want?

    Try again, Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh... stating the obvious doesn't make it right. Filling my already cluttered online world with stuff I no longer want or need isn't helpful in finding the things I actually DO want to find again.

As others have posted here, this is just bad design. There is no explanation for bad design, just excuses.

    dear jeff,

    mahesh's response is WRONG.

not only did previous versions automatically hide uninstalled apps (you had to change settings to view them before), but now you can still remove them from this view.

Simply swipe up or right-click to get the "customize" command.

    Click customize

select all apps you wish to hide or uninstall, even if they were previously uninstalled

click "uninstall" when it appears on the "customize" menu

do this until the apps are no longer showing in app view.

I have adopted a better approach until this is solved: I stopped using Windows Store.

Almost all the apps available for Brazil are **** and the restriction of removing these apps from my account made me abandon Windows Store. My last access was almost 2 years ago.
