Windows Store Shows My Installed AND Uninstalled Apps in the Option [ YOUR APPS ].

I want to remove my Uninstalled Apps From this Option.

Please Help me.

Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

    Hey Matt. I've been complaining for years, and I too want what you want.  Microsoft don't care. I don't use the Windows Store. 

    PS This thread commenced in December 2012 and it is all viewable.

    I don't care about tracking codes and how many times a app has been downloading

    I just want my apps to show my apps not some demo or incompatible app that I used 10 years ago...

    Simple fix would be to have a hide option then every one wins...

    In brief MS (and the developer?) track downloads of apps.  Each app you download is registered to your account and that info is retained (somewhere).  The app developer knows how many times their app is downloaded.  I guess your account name is somewhere on that database along with mine. 

    It all has to do with the new business model developed when Win 8 was introduced. You have to ask why did MS give away copies of Win 10 and what about all the advertising. They are not a charity. This is serious business.

    Every app you download contains tracking or monitoring code...caveat emptor

    The best way is to delete your account and stop using the Store.

    Set up your PC to boot to a Local Account.

    The apps on FileHippo and similar sites are far better.

    Explain, expand, and clarify your observation about tracking code

    The most absolute way to not be tracked is not to carry tracking devices. Seems a bit late for that. not too late to keep asking MS to allow deletion of history from the app store. Losing accounts we have with the company might provide motivation. But then this is just pure speculation on my part. Thus far this thread seems to serve as little more than a place to make comments or opinions that go nowhere. Including mine. Happy new year..
