:smileyfrustrated:I unpacked my phone yesterday and have the same issues at the first post. I checked for updates and read the manual on the camera.. Seems that the focus is just not working.
Lumia 1020 Camera Won't Hold Focus
When using my 1020, I hold the shutter button halfway down to let it autofocus. It proceeds to do so briefly, but as I push the button, it loses focus and results in blurry photos. The manual focus does a little better. If I tap to focus, I can usually get the focus I want after 10 or so tries. This issue comes up at any focal distance.
Is the camera broken?
Thanks.

2013-09-26T18:38:14+00:00 hi, i believe the focus works as designed and is no hardware issue - my 1020 behaces the same wayfor macro shots i often use the on screen focus
the post processing which adjusts the pic is often discussed and is also no hardware issue since many users have the same problem

2013-09-21T14:15:56+00:00 hi, I have a similar issue that I have just recently have with my 1020, I am not sure if it is the focus, but I have had the camera stall the phone at least 3x, now when I take a camera pro picture, everytime I review the picture, it would be of good clarity for a sec when the picture displays, then it will "adjust" the picture to a blurrier version and usually more yellow tinged as well. I only had the phone for 5 days, the problem is I bought it in the US while I am currently residing in Indonesia, (no contract) could you tell me what is wrong with my camera and if there is a problem, how would I go about getting it fixed?
