Lumia 1020 Camera Won't Hold Focus

When using my 1020, I hold the shutter button halfway down to let it autofocus. It proceeds to do so briefly, but as I push the button, it loses focus and results in blurry photos. The manual focus does a little better. If I tap to focus, I can usually get the focus I want after 10 or so tries. This issue comes up at any focal distance.

Is the camera broken?

    I have the exact same problem as the above posters.  I am very certain the camera is focusing to correct point then goes beyond so the image is blurry.  This is the lens movement, but whether the software or hardware is miscalibrated I don't know.  What I do know is that this is quickly becoming a class wide issue that deserves proper attention from the company.  Clearly my phone is a bit older but it was capable of taking amazing photos until this problem happened.  What will you do for me Microsoft?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem as all of the others.  Is there a software fix to it?  I was happy with my 1020 but now I`m very disappointed,  I bought the phone for its camera.  Would a Microsoft support person please contact me?

    get Lumia 950xl as next phone   . camera does not seem to have same problem so far

    What is the big secret? I have the same problem as do many many other people. What is the solution? Is there one?

    I have not seen an answer.  "I will take direct contact" does not help the community. Phone was great for over a year and now useless as a camera. Not a cheap phone either.

    Hi

    yes I have still issues with this.  I have another problem as well.  The mobile 1020  keeps freezing when I use it.  I have to then re boot it.  What is the problem?

    and how can I fix it.
