Lumia 1020 Camera Won't Hold Focus

I originally sent in my phone for repair on 7/26/2015 and the local repair shop tried but could not get the focus to work.  They replaced the lens and camera and the camera chip on the mother board.  Squaretrade asked me to ship it to them to get it fixed.  They turned it around in one day and replaced the entire motherboard and for now it works.  It is my understanding from the local repair shop that mother board parts are very hard to get (takes about 3 months) but are relatively cheap ($85.00).  I suspect it is a reconditioned part but it works and I'm happy.

I hope that this is a long term fix, the camera on the phone is very nice.  If not for that ,I'd go Android.

I have  same problem .....the infinitive  fous is not working properly so what i can do please  suggest  me can i give my phone at nokia care for camera serviceing please ..suggest me ....

I have had the same problem and I took my phone to a local repair shop noted for its service.  They have had my phone for 90 days, replaced the entire lens/focus mech and then the circuit board chip that operates the camera .... none of it fixed the problem.  The tech has given up and stated that the phone has numerous problems with its camera.

Fortunately I have it covered under Squaretrade and will get my money back.

When using my 1020, I hold the shutter button halfway down to let it autofocus. It proceeds to do so briefly, but as I push the button, it loses focus and results in blurry photos. The manual focus does a little better. If I tap to focus, I can usually get the focus I want after 10 or so tries. This issue comes up at any focal distance.

Is the camera broken?

I have this issue, my camera wont take a focused picture unless its a close up and then I'm lucky. If anyone can help would be amazing!
