How will Microsoft answer this one since it is a problem in their brand new, hyped Windows 10 and Edge(the replacement browser for the aging IE).  Why should we revert back to IE for printing when Edge was hyped as its replacement.  Someone at Microsoft forgot to program Edge with all the services that IE provided.

Agreed, I just ran into this problem, and I had to go backwards from MS Edge to MS IE.  Doesn't seem to make much sense that Microsoft can't figure out how to allow their own programs print without having IE as the default browser, especially when MS Edge is their new default browser.  Hopefully Microsoft will spend the time and figure out how to resolve this conflict at least with their own browsers, and that would lead to a resolution to allow any browser to be the default and still print your home network password.

Unfortunately that doesn't help in this case. (Because "Where do you go from there?")

But since I already provided a solution and Rangerfied72 confirmed that it works, all Benjamin has to do is look on the previous page. Or read László Kovácsik's last answer, which is also equally correct. Which I'm sure he already has read.

Ultimately, we are still waiting for Microsoft to fix this nonsensical issue. It's been left unfixed for years. Originally introduced several major operating system versions ago.

I just upgraded to windows 10. I get the same error code however windows edge is the only browser that is installed on my computer does anyone have a clue on how to remedy this one? I had to reset to a home group to allow my wireless printer to work. However I cannot print the home group password now. Boooo.

Asy I know IE is part of Windows 10 too. So you should have it on your machine agter upgrade. I suggest you to search for Internet Explorer and it should be found, then you could start it. Then you can follow this "funny" process.
