Problem is due to that particular windows function requiring MSIE to be the default browser. Even if you are using Windows 10 and MS Edge!

    Simple fix.

When you get to the "Print Homegroup Password" window press ALT + PRTSCR, open Wordpad, paste and then print from Wordpad.

No need to install anything else or change default browser.

I don't have to "quote" anyone on this thread. MS is apparently NOT going to fix this issue of the 21475000037 error.

My guess is the print password in Homegroup is now a risk. When security is sooo important, why leave an unsecure

process in Windows 10? This "complaint" thread is really huge! MS hasn't closed this thread either so it looks like they don't

even care anymore. MDSBigPaPa has it well worded... "Not now, not ever" for IE. I have a case number into MS, waited

for the whole time frame for them to call... nada, nothing. I see the workarounds, I can review and use them. What I

wonder is the hardening of the MS arteries going to crash the whole company? Is this the "Too big to fail" mantra we

have come to know? 4 years is a long time to let a problem fester. Is MS still listening to 8 track tapes or trying to revive

VHS and Beta video? How about Ma Bell and the rotary telephones? Umm, are they still trying to push 3D glasses in the

age of virtual reality goggles? OH, how about Windows 95?!?!

I am satisfied with this observation, "MS has gone undercover for money only".

I remember the Three Stooges reaction to the question, "Who's fault is this"? Each one immediately points to the two

others. See no evil, hear no evil, (must) speak no evil. I guess as customers, we are the evil ones. It's how we're treated.

Nope. Not an Option. Will Not Comply. Will NOT be assimilated. Fix the damn thing once and for all.  (Sound of crickets from M$.)

If you have a 'Snipping tool' on your PC, use this to take a snip and name it  Network or something similar then  paste on to a 'Word' Doc.

I have tried this method because I use Google and do not want to set IE as my default.

It may not fix the problem but you have a copy of your Password
