Messaging App in Windows 8 showing duplicate outgoing messages

Lately, the messaging app in Windows 8 has been malfunctioning. When I send an outgoing message, the original message pops up at the bottom like normal, but it is quickly followed by a duplicate of the same message directly underneath it. What's going on?

2013-04-17T07:01:52+00:00 I fixed it by disconnecting my Facebook account from my Microsoft account and then reconnected it. Presto! No more double posts. Might have had something to do with the latest messaging app update?

2013-04-17T08:30:32+00:00 I tried doing that, but it still keeps happening. Disconnecting accounts and connecting them again does not fix the issue. Microsoft, what the ****? :P Please fix it ^^

2013-04-17T12:18:50+00:00 I removed Facebook link from my MS account on all my Win8 devices and removed it from my Windows Phone 8, rebooted all devices. Re-added Facebook links and the duplication of outgoing messages is STILL there. Cloud integration is definitely a make work endeavor for MS!

2013-04-17T13:22:52+00:00 Just a note on the problem: The duplication only happens when the receiving Facebook client is on line, if the receiving client is not on line there is no duplication.
