    I've followed all the instructions and I copy and paste the URL from Google to the subscribe calendar URL space and every time it says there's a problem with the URL I've entered yet I've copied and pasted it!  Any suggestions?

    Totally agree with you all.  It's great having all these options but they need to work together to to make things more convenient otherwise there's no point, they just give a headache!!

    There are two address available. You have clicked on Calendar's Address.

    1. Calendar Address
    2. Private Address

    Please Copy the the URL of Private Address.

    1. Sign In
    2. Click the arrow beside the calendar you want to subscribe in outlook
    3. go to "Calendar Settings
    4. Beside "Private Address" click on ICAL

    I am also very frustrated with this.  I just wanted to add a Google Ap to my windows 8---I wouldn't have purchased Windows 8 but unfortunately, its what was on the computer I purchased so other than having to uninstall it and install an entirely different system, not to mention the licensing costs to do this on a new computer, I'm pretty ticked off that I can't access my Google calendar from the first Windows 8 screen.

    HOWEVER...I DID create a Google calendar shortcut on my DESKTOP.  It's not a perfect solution but it beats having to upload all my stuff into Windows Calendar and then have it totally be uneditable and unworkable.  What a waste.  Google and Windows...you two giants need to realize that you are upsetting CUSTOMERS.  Remember us?  We pay your frakin bills!!!

    A very efficient way to create short cut of Google Calendars for CHrome

    Go to: Calendar.Google.com (or Your Domain Calendar link for Google apps users)

    1. Sign in
    2. Go to chrome > Options > Create Application Shortcut
