    I totally agree ZLoomis. I too paid a lot of money for my Windows 8 (Sony) laptop.

    This time it took 41.5 hours (6.5 hours short of 2 days!) for my Google Calendar on my Outlook.com Calendar to be updated. That's still dreadful.

    Just add Caldav support already.

    Not exactly helpful. I gave up on using the Win8 Calendar about a week after getting Win8 in 2013. It's a joke. You can either STOP USING Google Calendar and switch to Outlook, or try to sync your G-Calendar TO Outlook, which is nigh impossible. For my desktop and 3 mobile devices, I just rely on Google Calendar as I always have. The (IN)conveniences of the Windows Desktop "apps" are notorious.
