    I agree with this. Anything else is a cumbersome work-around that I am unwilling to do. I will stick to google calendar as I have since windows dropped the ability to sync in real time. The calendar on my windows machine is worthless to me.

    I'm sorry, but this is not really an answer. The proper solution is to add CalDav support to the Calendar app, or even Google support specifically by using their Calendar REST API.

    I actually like what Microsoft does far more often than not, but if you are aiming to sell a product to people who are serious about getting things done you must get basics such as Calendars and Reminders working properly. Knowing what to do and when to do it is a fundamental of business life (and much else).

    Hi all,

    To go fully Micro$haft here:

    "Your concerns and objections are duly noted. And disregarded."

    Pfff... it's enough to curl the hairs in the back of your neck. It seems that these molochs (both MS and Google) don't really care about their users, unless they are heavy bill-fillers (and even that's no guarantee).

    Time to go open-source, I guess... :-/
