how do you make the clock and date always visible in windows 8?

Hello,

On the earlier operating systems the date and clock would be in the lower right hand side.  The new windows 8 doesn't have that,  the date and clock appear for a little bit.  I must have the date and clock show at all times when I am on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched topics and didn't appear to be a solution.

I must have it, if it is not an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to figure this out.

Unfortunately, that option is not possible as it is designed in that way.

    I agree, this should be a simple fix. Has anyone heard of an app we can add that will do this?

    There is a better way folks...  I download Rainmeter skins and there are many different options but I will caution you not to stray to far away on some of them and read up on this tool.  Below is a screen shot of my current desktop, I have combined RocketDock to give me all the elegance of a MAC without the headahces of a MAC OS. ;)  So don't give up on Windows just yet, seems to me they are just getting started.

    I TOTALLY agree!  This is the most Ludacris  thing I have seen.  There SHOULD be a simple way to adjust the DESIGN in it.!

    I finally got a new computer and am new to this conversation. I don't want to make a special effort to see the time. And I  shouldn't have to. I need the time displayed at all times no matter where I am--online or off. Has there been a solution, that I some how missed, since Carmen Y's complaint two years ago?
