how do you make the clock and date always visible in windows 8?

Hello,

On the earlier operating systems the date and clock would be in the lower right hand side.  The new windows 8 doesn't have that,  the date and clock appear for a little bit.  I must have the date and clock show at all times when I am on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched topics and didn't appear to be a solution.

I must have it, if it is not an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to figure this out.

Unfortunately, that option is not possible as it is designed in that way.

    Just do it in the very primitive way: buy an alarm-clock that you put to the side of your computer, or take a wrist-watch, take off the strap, and clip it to the side of the monitor.

    Sorry, but that's not the only thing that Windows8 is making huge steps backwards into primitivity, worse than oldfashioned Windows3.1 or earlier several decades ago.

    It's a total shame to impose such a callow OS to the users!

    So for permanently havig the clock visible you need to pemanently press the alt button or what? Sorry, but with a permanently depressed alt button, working is no longer possible as the entire keyboard is blocked by pressing the alt-key ...
