how do you make the clock and date always visible in windows 8?

Hello,

On the earlier operating systems the date and clock would be in the lower right hand side.  The new windows 8 doesn't have that,  the date and clock appear for a little bit.  I must have the date and clock show at all times when I am on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched topics and didn't appear to be a solution.

I must have it, if it is not an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to figure this out.

Switch Win8.1  (or 8) to desktop mode instead of 'modern' interface mode and the clock is bottom right as it has always been.

I don't think Mr Sanwin 2 understands or understood the question I was asking but thanks for attempted answer....... 

I myself want the clock(s) and analog (I like analog clock not digital)

Always visible (always on top if possible) 

NOT in lower right (if task bar on default bottom) or if you move task bar to left or right side (on bottom corner) where you have to "hover" over it

(if you have task bar in auto hide mode)(especially if you have the two additional clocks like I do, for (different time zones)(west coast, east coast, overseas ).

I want it (them) larger on the actual desktop just like the "gadget" clock in Win 7 before Microsoft deemed "gadgets" a security risk and removed them in Win 8 and only provided "APPS" which require you to switch to apps screen and/or move cursor to right where a large digital clock with date appears momentarily (which is cool but not analog, permanent or multiple)

I would like to be able to have these multiple clocks lined up on desktop just like in a travel office, the movies, or some other office environment where different time zones are always visible on the wall. 

This way, you are able to just take one glance to see the time you want to see as you are working on something on you computer. 

(It would be nice if they had alarms too but I digress)

The link http://8gadgetpack.net/ provides for the clock feature and other useful "gadgets" just like before in Win 7 and they work very well and are FREE!!!

They can appear on a Grey translucent "bar"  or without it.   Thanks, developer!

this probably solves the problem for almost anyone looking for the clock solution

The ONLY problem for me, (and the reason I am asking if there is another solution ) that I'm aware of, that is for me is....., It seems to conflict with my browser when I try to go to a online poker site that I go to (which is pureplay.com) and if I have the "gaget seven" loaded, it stops me from accessing the site through any browser! (IE, Mozilla or Chrome).

I have contacted Pureplay but they can't or am not interested (of course) in figuring that out. 

So, that's the skinny......Still waiting Microsoft or anyone else....to come up with that clock(s)!

I agree Carman Y.  The clock not staying on top is certainly a downgrade.

Please fix it or give us a way to make it stay on top at all times.
