how do you make the clock and date always visible in windows 8?

Hello,

On the earlier operating systems the date and clock would be in the lower right hand side.  The new windows 8 doesn't have that,  the date and clock appear for a little bit.  I must have the date and clock show at all times when I am on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched topics and didn't appear to be a solution.

I must have it, if it is not an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to figure this out.

Unfortunately, that option is not possible as it is designed in that way.

    I think most of us who want the date & time visible use a lap top instead of a desk top.

    The permanent digital clock is back in Windows 10!

    I posted the previous post for those that don't have or don't want WIN 10 (earlier computers) or preffer an Analog Clock or Multiple Clocks (Like a news room)   plus Gadget8 provides other useful "gadgets" with or without a sidebar.  One "gadget" named "Reminder" when idle also is a digital clock.

    The software also works with WIN10 and is free.  Of course a donation is appropriate if you find it useful.

    I have no connection with the developer but it seems to be a good adjunct to use in our "computer surfing days"!

    I replied to Semex and Carmens input back in July and this is a followup.  At that time the software GadgetPack8 seemed to confict with software at Pureplay.com but I decided to revisit the issue.

    Seems that whatever conflict i was experiencing has been resolved.

    I would recommend everyone try this solution.
