Original Title: Nothing will download in Windows 8?
I'm not sure whats causing this, but NOTHING will download in windows 8. Not apps, or things i download on the internet. It will start the download and then it will say, "The download was interrupted." I've tried a clean boot, but that didn't help. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Ok, I tried everything and nothing works. I have windows 8 and it is correctly activated. I have administrator account. I have not Macafee nor Norton. I unchecked ActiveX Installer (AxInstSV). And still nothing :-( I have 4 computers with windows 8 at home. 3 computers work correctly, the new one with clean installation does not. :-( I do not understand anything... Any suggestions?

The big question is whether it works for you in Safe Mode. Go into Safe Mode, and if it works there, you can do what I did -- disable services one at a time in MSConfig and see which one is causing it. Though my issue was with Win7 64bit Professional, not Win8. (Mathematical suggestion -- disable the services several at a time, maybe 10 or 20, just to find out which group contains the offending service. Then go from there.)
Two more things you can try - Hit F12 in IE and try changing a couple of settings there. (Though if Chrome isn't working either, this isn't likely to help, but hey....) Make sure nothing is disabled under the Disable heading. Also, in IE10 or IE11, you might want to change the default version rendering from Edge to a lower IE version like 7 or 8 and see if that helps.
I cannot update windows, its been 2 month, and i also cannot download everything, pictures, video, mp3, ect. I already try to update it manually, but still cannot, why is that happen?

I have a brand new laptop. It came with windows 7 and recommended that I update to 8.1. Ever since I did, nothing works rite. I CAN NOT download anything. The whole computer is fried!
