You can disable it but it should not be enabled by default. Microsoft however thinks it should be enabled by default because they disagree with everyone that hates it in that it gets in the way. However, they are pretty dumb and do not understand
their own software. For instance, the top right corner triggers the charms bar but this is also where the X is on a maximized window. Bright thinking huh?
And it can easily be changed to the Bottom-Right Corner.
Y'all keep repeating this but, there are countless Users for whom it does not pop out unless & until they ask for it, the Charms Bar, that is. Far more do not encounter what you are.
For example, not one of my clients, customers have ever come enquiring about this...they, as well as many, many others do not have the issue you continue to discuss w/ such hatred. Nor anyone in other IT Forums where I write.
One can only wonder @ this inconsistency.
