> Print... just print from Adoby reader or some other win8 application.
ha? The Adobe Reader has nothing to do with Win 8. The Metro App from Adobe didnt had a print function a long time... Which is not the fault of Win 8... Its Adobes fault.
Printing in general in Metro is the same... Use the Charms bar...
> close some applications out? omg who would figure this would be an issue.
You know that you dont have to close the Metro Apps right? They get suspended after a while. Means they dont consume any CPU or Memory.
Besides if you really want to close Apps... You have 3 options.... Drag from top to bottom (which only makes sense on touch screens), Closing via right click on the App-Taskbar, Alt+F4.
> saving a file.... where's the ole directory structure..
Still there
> Notepad... where the heck is it? i have to open a cmd to open note pad and calculator.
How about just typing "note" in the Start menu? Or pin notepad in the start menu if you need it so often
> video's... omg... i could go on days
Media player? VLC? You dont have to use the Video App...
> my frustration level with this operating system is un-measurable. Even Microsoft ME was better than this..... give me Centennial... I would remove this OS asap if it weren't for the customers that are using it.... I just can't afford to look like an
idiot so i need to learn it... painful... just painful.
I think your frustration just comes from the fact that you dont know the system or its concept.
You dont even know the simple stuffs like -> you can start typing in the start menu and Win 8 start searching for the program or file.
Win 8 is way better than Win 7 or any MS OS. It has its problems, that for sure. Some of those are fixed in 8.1. It's still the best OS out there.
