Having failed to access a website I was invited to 'refresh' the computer.  This took about 5 minutes and when it had finished I discovered that several applications had been removed and the e-mail icon had disappeared.  Is there a way to get this back please?

When you clicked on "Refresh" you would have got a message as below:

Refresh your PC

Here’s what will happen

. Your files and personalization settings won’t change.

. Your PC settings will be changed back to their defaults

. Apps from Windows Store will be kept

. Apps you installed from discs or websites will be removed.

. A list of removed apps will be saved on your desktop.

What do you mean by the "Email icon"?

    Lost outlook

Hi ZiggeyLee was unable to answer this question, I followed the instructions received from another member, but nothing happend, I kept at it for about 45mins, and although I'm ashamed to say I gave up and went to bed when I got up the following morning, lo and behold switched on the PC and there in the bottom toolbar, the logo for an email was there in all its glory. To summarise, I've answered your question, without knowing how.

    Kind Regards

    Colin

I don't understand how this will help me. I don't even understand what it says.  Or means.
