I think the issue can be counted as solved now. No more BSODs after installing NVIDIA driver from laptop vendor ASUS.

    Hi,

What I might suggest is to start a new topic on the issue to get the best help.

In that topic it would help to provide the minidump file(s) in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder.

Copy the minidump files to another folder such as a folder on the Desktop and then upload them to a public folder on OneDrive or similar site and provide a link.

To start a new topic click "Participate" and then click "Ask a Question" in the following link:

Its all well and good that you guys seem to be computer geniuses and understand the what you are talking about.  BUT, I just had this problem for the first time and am not well versed with the computer language you guys use so easily. I got the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION problem on my computer whilst working on excel and listening to music on windows media.

What are the chances that this will happen again, what do I do it it happens? I use windows 8.1. on a Proline laptop.
