lighting bolt and gear icon

My Nokia Lumia 920 shows the lightning bolt and gear icon. does not start and is frozen on that icon.

So lets try this and see if it helps.

Hard Reset using buttons:

Press and hold the Camera + Volume Down + Power until the phone vibrates. Then release the Power key and keep pressing the Camera + Volume Down for a few seconds.

A HAD SAME PROBLEM TOOK OUT MEMORY CARD ATTACHED TO LAPTOP AND PRESSED VOLUME <DOWN> AND POWER BUTTON AND IT CAME ON

    I also have a 520 stuck on cogs. I tried the Windows Recovery tool but it says not enough memory. I can't get into the phone to clear any memory. If It would show up as a "Device" or "Drive" when I plug it into my pc, I might be able to clear some.

    but how about im using lumia 535 and theirs no camera button and if I hold those buttons it will start and popup again and again .. pls guys I really need ur help
