lighting bolt and gear icon

My Nokia Lumia 920 shows the lightning bolt and gear icon. does not start and is frozen on that icon.

So lets try this and see if it helps.

Hard Reset using buttons:

Press and hold the Camera + Volume Down + Power until the phone vibrates. Then release the Power key and keep pressing the Camera + Volume Down for a few seconds.

A HAD SAME PROBLEM TOOK OUT MEMORY CARD ATTACHED TO LAPTOP AND PRESSED VOLUME <DOWN> AND POWER BUTTON AND IT CAME ON

    What if you do not have a power button?

    I've been utilizing the phone for months without issue without a power button (the bracket it sits in is no longer in place and i cannot even hit the power button).

    Is there another way to hard reset?

    I did all of these steps and none of them fixed my Nokia Lumia 925. Nokia and Microsoft is nothing but crappy software and hardware. I am thinking of switching back to apple since I had iphone before and currently have macbook pro. I never had problem my iphone and macbook.
