Problem with wireless adapter or Access point

I am having problems with my wireless connection and troubelshoot tells me that I have a problem with the wireless adapter or access point. What can I do, as the internet is not the problem. Does this have something to do with my PC setting?

    Thanks for the replies, it's a start.

    Do I understand correctly that your computer came pre-installed with Windows 10 from the factory?

    Can I please have your computer's manufacturer and model number?

    If it works well for a while and then stops, the root issue could be the driver crashing, or a changing network condition like another device tries to register the same IP address or DNS name with the router.  Just hard to know at this point.  It's not impossible that the card itself fails when it gets warm but that's incredibly unlikely, especially if you can "fix" it by resetting it with the troubleshooter.

    I have an Asus S451LB, it comes with windows 8 preinstaled. I did an upgrade in the day it arrived to 8.1 and in the day widows 10 was aviable - i upgraded.

    In case you will need it: qualcomm atheros ar9485wb-eg

    I typed your model number into this page on Asus and it says that your computer is green to go for Windows 10, but they warn that you will need to manual uninstall the "Asus Wireless Console".

    I don't think that is what causes the issue. From what i understood - it's just a shortcut with on screen display.

    From Asus: ASUS Wireless Console is a utility to provide an on-screen selection interface for the built-in wireless LAN and/or Bluetooth. After installing ASUS Wireless Console, one could use the function key to turn the built-in wireless LAN and/or Bluetooth ON or OFF. With only wireless LAN built-in or only Bluetooth built-in hold [Fn] and press [F2] separately to scroll through the selections of wireless LAN and/or Bluetooth.

    I don't think it's likely to be the cause either, just something mfg'r recommends for that model after upgrade. I'd actually use that page to grab their driver and install it.  Even if it matches the version you already have installed, so you're using the one they tested and not whatever got installed from WHQL over Windows Update.
