I am having problems with my wireless connection and troubelshoot tells me that I have a problem with the wireless adapter or access point. What can I do, as the internet is not the problem. Does this have something to do with my PC setting?

First of all - sorry for disturbing you, i know that is quite annoying to talk about the same problem over and over again. I have a problem with my wireless adapter. It came with my laptop. I have tried to install other versions of the network driver and it didn't help. Now i am on the last version available. If you have any clues of what can cause that problem (except drivers and the adapter it self) - please help me.
Look at the instructions above - "DanielMcCarthyNT replied on January 24" - for an answer. This should eliminate your woes. It solved the same issue for many others.

BS. i have yet found this somewhat new help system do anything for me but add to more frustration and aggravation in trying to solve a problem within your system. i usually will go anywhere but here to find answers but i am so sick of not solving my network adapter or access point issue i tried once again to ask MS for assistance.

The wireless adapter is the antenna on your computer (or inside it).
The access point is your actual wireless router (which may or may not have an antenna sticking out of it).
One of those two things has the problem. It's probably the first one, and it's probably just needing you to go to your computer manufacturer's site and get the new drivers for it so it can run better. But that's a lot of probablys and a lot of assumptions, so definitely take time to read the rest of this conversation above as well, or let us know what you've tried from above so we can move forward.
