0x80240437 Windows 8 Store error while installing apps

This error code suddenly appears in WIndows 8 Store when trying to install or update apps....  Solutions to this have not yet been found.

There are many references to some date and time issues but they are correct on my Computer.

I did use the troubleshouter for Windows update which states that something has been corrected.

There are errors in my Event logs...

ID 36888 System Log; A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 10. The Windows SChannel error state is 10.

this is a fairly new Installation...

    This has also happened to me. I was notified (in windows store) that there were updates to finance, sports, news, travel, Kindle. None of them will update and now I cannot install any new apps. It just says it could not install the update and uses error code: 80240437. As far as I can tell that is MS speak for "I don't know what happened!"

    It has also happened this week to my daughters new dell tablet. I am running Windows 8 Pro and she is running Windows 8 RT. We have run the troubleshooter, the wsreset, checked the proxy, and are both using the MS virus checker. Based on the recent flurry of posts across the web I am beginning to think it is an update MS sent out. Short of completely stripping and reloading the machine, anyone have any more ideas?

    Same happend to me, but now the problem is back again

    Same problem here. It just started and I still have it. Tried everything.

    Why can't Microsoft get this right.

    Exact same problem.  Brand new Windows RT laptop computer with very few apps installed so far. Also working on private network and no proxy settings or security software.  This is VERY frustrating as the problem seems to occur on multiple computers and even after several months MS still has no answer (that I can find on the web).

    p.s. as mysterious as the error started, it also solved itself.  Tried all kinds of setting changes, trouble shooting options and restarts.  Not sure what did it, but I can install apps again.

    I tried the three fix suggestions: Ran the trouble shooter, there were no proxy settings, and I do not have any third party software, yet I cannot update any APPs. What else can I try
