How safe is RegCure Pro?

Fully agree. Had Regcure already running for years; on versions of windows, and was frequently very happy to have it.  Today, having installed windows 8.1 on a brand new Laptop, having erased all its previous OS (windows 7), I only added chrome, OpenOffice, drivers for a Officejet Pro, Itunes; VLC media player, and Norton Internet Security, and reinstalled the Lenovo software. Been only on Google and the sites of two serious newspapers, and the sites from whcih to download all that.

By the time I installed Norton, the PC was already infested with malware that made it actually impossible to install the Lenovo software: clicking on download brought me systematically, in Chrome and IE, on some very agressive publicty sites. 

Uninstalling a few things with instructions found on the web, (using a mac :-)  ) rebooting a few times and installing Norton seemed to help things. Letting Norton do several full scans followe by reboots... you would think the PC would be both cleaned and systematically kept clean. 

Quite soon, any searches wheter in google, in the Windows 8.1 search function, or on the URL bar .. where clearly taken over by some malware again. could not type characters at a speed higher than 1 per 2, 3 seconds.

Installed trusty Regcure Pro, who declared the status of my registry CRITICAL, cleaned it, my laptop behaves normally again. Sure, Regcure pro also makes unwanted publicty for other products of the sa,e company, but you can get rid of that by ticking the box "do not repeat this message". I guess Norton's firewall works okay, and it probably keeps most true viruses out, but I find it suspicious that it is happy with a PC that unusably sluggish because some addware controls it. 

So VERY VERY happy, since over 10 years, many computers and all Windows versions since win2000, with RegCure from Paretologic.

Like I said in my post, Microsoft are not affiliated to any company other than Microsoft. As Microsodft informed me the most they charge for one year is £ 95 Sterling, they do not ask for money/ bank details. This con company is scamming you out of money. My advice report it to your bank & dispute the money, report it the police.   My bank could not report it as fraud as I willingly gave my bank details to these swines, however I can dispute it & hopefully claim my money back.... Not sure what the system is like where you are but worth a try.  In the UK we have access to a fraud department within the Police. It's clear that you among all of us have being conned by their schemes. If you paid initially through paypal like I did, report it there aswell & request a refund.  Hope this helps....
