Installed this today, it caused my Poppeeper to be flagged with a -1000 error. Rolled computer back and problem cured. Have hidden update until i know what to do.

YMMV but...

...Microsoft is aware of an issue some customers are experiencing when installing KB2670838 on certain laptop systems with hybrid graphics. We are looking into the situation and are considering blocking the update for systems that could be affected. Customers who are experiencing issues on systems that already have installed the update should consider uninstalling KB2670838.

In the near future (one assumes), Microsoft should begin offering home users (only!) no-charge support for IE10 install and uninstall issues. You also may be eligible for the support if an IE10-related issue causes your computer to crash or if IE10 does
 not let you browse all sites. For now, however, you're on your own so you're best bet is to hide IE10 (*and KB2670838 IMHO*) & stick with IE9 for the time being.

    Yes, I am having the same issue, but in more BF3 maps.  Lost of yellow highlighted roads and trees.

    Well Nvidia did not have a fix for the yellow roads in BF3 last driver update so I hope MS will fix this.

    For me this update has caused headaches including the ATI Catalyst Control Center not opening (so I couldn't change my graphics card settings!), slower graphics in general, and the Calculator becoming unusable (corrupted display). Uninstalling it fixed all of these problems - but it took me a lot of searching to find the right answer. Shame on MS for releasing a 'patch' which messes up so many people's machines - and not acknowledging it and fixing the problem.
