lumia 720 screen freeze

Hi my new Lumia 720 sometimes freeze up and only way out is a reset..... Any tips please? Is this a known issue? Is there any fix update planned to be released?

    Hi, Nits2105.

    Have you updated the device to Lumia Black? Go to Settings > Extras+Info to confirm. Please provide the Firmware Revision number of the phone as well. It is also recommended to update the other system updates: http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Pool-of-Knowledge/Nokia-Windows-Phone-8-App-Updates/td-p/1640082

    Since the issue starts to happen after updating the Glance Screen system app, have you tried turning this off and then check if the performance of the phone will improve?

    Thanks for teh solution.. About the Hard Reset. ie. pressing and holding the Volume Down key + lock key for 10 seconds. It worked and phone restarted and booted withing seconds !!!

    Hi,

    I had purchased Lumia 720 on dec 2013 nd the phn ws wrkng absolutely fine bt there ws an update from nokia for the message display on the glance screen nd aftr installing that my phn started hanging frequently nd I'm nt able to trace out the root cause of my prblm...it can occur at any time hd cntctd customer care a no. of times bt their suggestions seems to have no solution to the prblm I have tried from formatting my phn to soft reseting it to like a100 times bt there seems to b no relief mst importantly the touch feature freezes bt my lock button works nd after pressing it for two or three times smtyms the screen unfreezes nd works normally otherwise I had to reset the phn nd there is also a vry irritatng problem occuring with my phn is the production of a very loud buzzing sound whenever there is a incoming call makng an impossible conversastion nd sometimes it so happens that I'm not able to slide up the screen for call reception nd ultimately the call gets disconnectd...I chose Lumia ovr android device solely on the fact that Lumia devices are the most smooth nd lag free devices bt aftr these bunch of prblms occuring in my device I wonder wether I made correct investment ,nd I'm greatly irritated by these glitches I hope these r software issues nd would urge strongly to nokia nd microsoft to look into these issues closely nd provide us with a solution...otherwise I dn't think one should invest in Lumia..hope the issues r fixd soon...eagerly waiting...
