I agree with you. I found your post looking for the same device to use with my XBox subscription for exercise. Microsoft left a void for customer to fill with other products that want one device or service for all uses. Microsoft has been making big strides
but they seem to miss some obviously important services.
Apple nailed this with their iPod family, phones, etc. Now when I want music without jogging with my Lumia phone I'm screwed, I have to go to an Apple product. I want an entire ecosystem, not 2/3's of one. I can't think of an Android solution either. There
is no point in having an XBox subcription, which is not intuitive or user friendly at Microsoft thinks, and having to use iTunes for music to exercise.
Why on earth would Microsoft use the XBox brand for music when it is synonymous with their gaming console? Now it is XBox Music, XBox Video, XBox gaming, etc. It is like a whole new brand instead of Microsoft. If nothing else, just call it XBox, like Apple
just refers to iTunes.
I'm going to cancel my XBox subscription now and buy an Apply Shuffle for my iTunes account which I never cancelled.
