Poor font rendering in Windows 8 (blurry text)

Apparently there is a huge problem with **** font rendering in Windows 8. Text appears very blurry. Programs affected by the new rendering are: Internet Explorer 10, the modern interface (start screen), Office 2013 and other 3rd party applications that rely on this rendering technology. There is no way to fix this problem, unless Microsoft recognizes it.

    (...) "Windows 8 was built on the reality that the lines between our work and personal lives have blurred."  Well, not only has our work and lives blurred in Win 8, Microsoft has managed to blur the fonts as well (...)

    In the first blog noted, Mr. Leblond of Microsoft notes:  "Windows 8 was built on the reality that the lines between our work and personal lives have blurred."  Well, not only has our work and lives blurred in Win 8, Microsoft has managed to blur the fonts as well rendering Win 8 virtually useless for those using large monitors for IE10 and other programs where high def is expected but low def is delivered.

    Have Microsoft attempted to fix this issue in windows 8.1 blue or they have not planned to do anything about it . I am planning on putting this on every popular forum and technical site around the world so people can avoid going to windows 8.1
