Error “Windows\System32\Atibtmon.exe Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library”.

Original Title: just installed windows 8 pro

getting error   windows\system32\atibtmon.exe 

mircosoft visual c++ runtime library

How can I fix this? Any suggestions would be helpful.

    This sounds like exactly what's happening to my laptop when I unplug it. I just installed Windows 10 and then it started.

    I'd like to try your remedy. What i the "CCC?"

    Windows 10 Pro: I disabled in msconfig the "AMD external events" and the problem is solved.

    Hi SkyDrivenaam! Disabling it does not affect other stuffs? 

    Edit: I did like SkyDrivenaan said and worked for me too. Thanks!

    Thanks. I am not much of a techy, so I will probably have to get help. I don't know what an AMD driver is.
