FSX Acceleration Error Code 1-80004005

Ok, I just installed Flight Simulator Acceleration and when ever i start FSX i get a error message saying: "sorry,an unexpected error occured which is prventing product activation from being completed ERROR CODE 1-80004005" i've searched bout 5 hours on the Internet trying to find a solution. The only thing i can find is that its something with the registry. Please Help!

1. Has the game ever worked earlier or it is the first time you are trying to play?

2. Which operating system is installed on the computer?

Method 1:

You may try the steps from the following link and check if it works:

a. Click Start and type regedit in the search bar and pressenter.

b. Browse to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} ****c. Find Upperfilters listed under it, and check its value, if its 0 change it to PartMgr and click OK out.

Microsoft FSX is a bad joke, full of tricks and jokes.

You know what a bad joke is don't you?

Steam FSX is just FSX Acceleration tarted up.

I put FSX in the trash can years ago along with all of this Micro(scopic)Soft(ee) garbage.

It is just kid's stuff.

Try spending $199 instead on Lockheed Martin's Prepare3D written in 64-bit for Windows 10 64-bit operating systems.

No point in struggling with out of date 32-bit systems.

Ever fancied a - bit - of something to - byte -?

Micro and Soft is the size of Bill Gate's 'appendage'.

Thank you for your poetry/adwise, but I have grandchildren who likes to fly on the PC. I have offered 150$ years ago

for the two CDs. So dam BG and his small balls.

Method 2 worked in then end but note: Upperfilters had the value "partmgr". I had to change it to the case sensitive version "PartMgr" and that worked like a charm! :)

This "solution" does not work. Maybe it used to, maybe it works for some people but not me, maybe it stopped working after MS's Windows 10 Anniversary Update, I don't know - but anyway, it's not working anymore.

Mine wasn't 0 to start with, it was:

PartMgr

I removed the hiosd so that it was simply:

PartMgr

Worked great! Thanks!
