FSX Acceleration Error Code 1-80004005

Ok, I just installed Flight Simulator Acceleration and when ever i start FSX i get a error message saying: "sorry,an unexpected error occured which is prventing product activation from being completed ERROR CODE 1-80004005" i've searched bout 5 hours on the Internet trying to find a solution. The only thing i can find is that its something with the registry. Please Help!

Hi,

1.     Has the game ever worked earlier or it is the first time you are trying to play?

2.     Which operating system is installed on the computer?

Method 1:

a. Click Start and type regedit in the search bar and pressenter.

b. Browse to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} ****c. Find Upperfilters listed under it, and check its value, if its 0 change it to PartMgr and click OK out.

    Microsoft FSX is a bad joke, full of tricks and jokes.

    You know what a bad joke is don't you?

    Steam FSX is just FSX Acceleration tarted up.

    I put FSX in the trash can years ago along with all of this Micro(scopic)Soft(ee) garbage.

    It is just kid's stuff.

    Try spending $199 instead on Lockheed Martin's Prepare3D written in 64-bit for Windows 10 64-bit operating systems.

    No point in struggling with out of date 32-bit systems.

    Ever fancied a - bit - of something to - byte -?

    Micro and Soft is the size of Bill Gate's 'appendage'.

    Your sure right about the ringer part!!!! I have a question for you😁You know anything about FSX STEAM version? Does it install over FSX & Acceleration pack or is it standalone? Is it wortb it?

    If your system is short of power, or memory, try this tip from another SIM producer after disconnecting from the Internet.

    1. Open the - run - window by pressing the Windows key + R
    2. Type - msconfig - and click on OK or press Enter
    3. Choose 'Selective startup' and clear the 'Load startup' items check box
    4. Choose the Services tab
    5. Check 'Hide all Microsoft services' and click on 'Disable all'
    6. Click - Apply - then OK
    7. Reboot

    Check that you are still - disconnected - from the Internet.

    I need to activate My FSX acceleration expansion pack

    Depends on where you reside.

    Try this link for the correct FSX activation telephone number.

    Personally I have given up with FSX and use Steam FSX without all of the activation hassle.

    It also has a very useful tool with the ability to fully verify the installation and easily repair it if needs be.

    If you do install Steam FSX you - MUST - run this verification tool - BEFORE - attempting to use the program.

    If your rig is up to it you should better spend $199 on Lockheed Martin's Prepare3D v4.1 launched in 2017.

    Check it out before you go any further as it is compiled on 64-bit architecture which is far more suitable for your 64-bit OS.

    Lockheed Martin, AKA Prepar3D, recommends Windows 10 and so do I as I can run Steam FSX at 40 frames per second.
