"Apple Mobile Device" failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.. then options to retry, abort or continue without installing component

After using this computer for 7 months (bought it new last November) and iTunes worked perfectly well until one day it stopped displaying the device option( the one that shows what iPhone or I pad..etc you got connected) and then you can sync the devices. but this went missing and iTunes could not re-download it. 

I have contacted Apple support and gone through all options to remove and re-download iTunes.. but didn't' work. Each time, after downloading most of the programme - it stops to give the following message:

iTunes: Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

Please help

    Hello everyone!

    Guess what, I got the same problems giving me hard time, but I solved it, as usual in similar but different ways... classic.

    Win 7 OS , Itunes 11.1.3.8

    So first it started with itunes showing error 126 at startup... ok.

    So I tried to repair no success, some DLLs missing, whatev.

    Uninstalled it and clean reboot, ok.

    Now reinstall itunes... first, showed DLL problem again. So I deleted manually all apple products from system, as suggested in many forums. I couldnt remove all things, though.

    Retried several times to reinstall itunes64 but unsuccessful (DLL, 126 again, then couldnt start mobile support service... which led me here).

    So I went on deinstalling all apple softwares but :

    I hit the problem with Apple Mobile Device Support by deinstalling (roll unroll, weird).

    So I went on >Repair>Uninstall in the Control Panel>Programs instead of straight >Uninstall. That made it without too much trouble : AMDS was away. Bonjour and other stuff wouldnt go away. Though I got on :

    Clean reboot, install itunes64 (lasted little longer than usual) done, library again all working.

    That was my path, 1week of trying...

    Thanks for all your little tricks which, reshuffled, made it in a peculiar way.

    Thank you soypisto75 wherever you are!!! You saved me from having a melt down.  I have been trying to "fix" my Itunes for three days. This is exactly what I needed to do! God bless you it worked perfectly!
