After using this computer for 7 months (bought it new last November) and iTunes worked perfectly well until one day it stopped displaying the device option( the one that shows what iPhone or I pad..etc you got connected) and then you can sync the devices. but this went missing and iTunes could not re-download it.
I have contacted Apple support and gone through all options to remove and re-download iTunes.. but didn't' work. Each time, after downloading most of the programme - it stops to give the following message:
iTunes: Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

2015-09-06T22:57:56+00:00 For "Future researchers" I will be very happy to share this experience that I had.
After several days of research, I found an answer that works for all system without any "errors". The process is very simple, just enter this site "http://rubenalamina.mx/custom-installers/downloads/" - search for iTunes 12.2.2.25 (Current Version 06 Semptember of 2015). Will get the file and use the "Winrar, program to extract files." After extracted files... you will run the file "iTunes.exe" that is inside the folder... and will give everything right, 100% success rate! Thank you and I have helped you.

2015-08-25T18:08:59+00:00 I tried everything. Reinstalled and installed 10 times all apple programs. I deleted all entries in the registry concerning apple . I deleteted all apple traces in the program folders. I deintalled all new programs of the last 2 month. I deinstalled my antvirus program. All the time the message **apple mobile device service failed to start** occured.
At the end I gave up. I began to hate APPLE. (Removed)
During installing that program the original drivers from Apple where installed. After that the original itunes installer started. I was asked for my password of itunes bcs the installer found protected apple music files . Then itunes was installed with the latest version and it worked.
It sounds crazy but ituns runs perfect and I can use my ipod at the end.
